FYI. Hue Jackson is full of crap! Spare me with the quarterback competition nonsense.

1.Did people around here really believe that Jason McCourty was going to sign with the Patriots because of his brother? Come on. Money talks people. 2 years and $6 million was enough to convince McCourty to sign with the Browns. He wasn’t going to get that money here.
2. Speaking of the Browns. I don’t buy Hue Jackson‘s nonsense that the starting quarterback job is Cody Kessler’s to lose. As bad as Brock Osweiler has been at times in his career, he is better than Kessler.
3. Falcons running back Devonta Freeman reiterated yesterday that he will not be holding out. He shouldn’t. Falcons owner Arthur Blank is loyal and willing to pay players who have produced for the team. Freeman just needs to be patient.
4. Redskins coach Jay Gruden refused to comment on Kirk Cousins future with the Redskins. Cousins doesn’t have a future with the Redskins. That’s why Gruden is not commenting.
5. Good for former Giants defensive tackle Leonard Marshall and long time NFL quarterback Matt Hasselbeck for pledging to donate their brains to CTE research. Hopefully more former players follow suit.
6. I love that Lane Kiffin offered USC offensive coordinator and former Tennessee quarterback Tee Martin’s 13 year old son a scholarship. Martin’s kid will have better offers. By next year! “Lame” Kiffin strikes again. He is such a tool!
7. Boston College has been picking up 2018 commitments from local recruits left and right. I guess Steve Addazio and his staff have really put up a fence around Massachusetts.
8. Landing Jonathan Giles is a huge get for LSU. The Texas tech transfer caught 69 passes for 1,158 yards and 13 touchdowns last year. He instantly becomes the Tigers number one receiver.
9. St. Peter Marian hired the right coach to spare head a turnaround in Justin McKay. McKay did a great job at Algonquin turning that program around and he will get St. Pete’s back on track.
10. According to my sources, Dover Sherborn coach Brad Pindel will be named the new head coach at Westwood High School. Pindel played at Westwood and coached at the school for 12 years prior to taking the D.S job
