Patriots Pulse Preview: Cincinnati Bengals (2-3) at New England Patriots (4-1)

Storyline: Tom Brady will play his first home game since his return from his four game suspension. Gillette Stadium will be rocking as the struggling Bengals come to town.

Here are my five keys to the game.

1. Get Brady Off to a Fast Start: Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels needs to open the game up throwing the football. Get Tom Brady into a rhythm and get him off to a good start. Brady will be fired up in this game. He will want to make plays. Give him the opportunity to do that.

2. Bring the Heat Against Andy Dalton: The Cincinnati Bengals have surrendered the most sacks in the NFL. Look for the Patriots to blitz more than they usually do as they try to take advantage of a suspect Bengals offensive line.

3. Bracket and Re-Route AJ Green: The Bengals have been one dimensional on offense thus far this season. They’ve struggled to run the football and Andy Dalton has forced the ball to AJ Green.

Look for the Patriots to match up Malcolm Butler on Green and give Butler safety help as they try to bracket and re-route Green and throw him off of his routes.

4. Get the Tight Ends on Their Safeties: You saw what the Patriots can do with Rob Gronkowski and Martellus Bennett from a match up standpoint last week against the Browns.

Look for the Patriots to move both tight ends around today and create match ups against a Bengals secondary that is suspect.

5. Find Gio Bernard: Bengals running back Gio Bernard can create match up problems for defenses. The Patriots need to identify Bernard and know where he is, especially on obvious passing downs. They cannot allow him to hurt them as Dalton’s safety valve.

Prediction: Patriots 38 Bengals 17: Tom Brady will have a big day in his return as the Patriots roll the struggling Bengals.
