Houston Texans: WR, C, DE, S

Needs Breakdown: The Texans added Brock Osweiler and Lamar Miller in free agency but they still need a wide receiver that can start opposite DeAndre Hopkins. Cecil Shorts III and Jaelen Strong don’t appear to be long term answers. With center Ben Jones leaving for divisional rival Tennessee, The Texans need a center. This draft is deep at the position. Look for the Texans to draft a defensive end by round four. They need to find a young player who can start opposite J.J Watt. Houston’s secondary is suspect, especially at the safety position. It’s imperative GM Rick Smith addresses the position in this draft.

Indianapolis Colts: OT, DE, TE, RB

Needs Breakdown: The Colts need to find a way to better protect Andrew Luck. They must improve an offensive line that has been a real liability the last two years. They could also use a pass rushing five technique defensive end. The Colts opted to re-sign Dwayne Allen and let Coby Fleener walk in free agency. They have Jack Doyle but they need another tight end because they like to play in 12 personnel. Running back Frank Gore is getting long in the tooth. Indy needs a young running back that can complement Gore and eventually take over for him.

Jacksonville Jaguars: DE, OG, CB, C

Needs Breakdown: The Jaguars spent a lot of money in free agency last month and they still have money to spend. General manager David Caldwell will use the draft to fill whatever needs the team didn’t address in free agency. Jacksonville needs to improve the interior of their offensive line. They won’t do that with the fifth overall pick but they could certainly address the offensive line throughout the draft. Jacksonville’s pass rush is suspect. The return of last year’s number one pick, Dante Fowler will help but the Jags need another pass rusher. Perhaps they go defensive end or outside linebacker at 5? Cornerback and center are also two other positions that the Jags must address.

Tennessee Titans: WR, DE, S, CB

Needs Breakdown: Draft experts everywhere are calling for the Titans to take an offensive tackle but the top three tackle could be gone by the time Tennessee picks at 15. A more realistic target is wide receiver. Giving Marcus Mariota more weapons is a good thing. Tennessee’s pass rush has been non-existent the past two seasons. The Titans need to draft a defensive end early in this draft. The secondary can also use a boast. Look for GM Jon Robinson to add a safety and a corner on day three.
