FOXBOROUGH – Just like that, training camp has come to an end for the 2026 Patriots.

Tuesday’s practice behind Gillette Stadium officially marked the end of summer sessions as the preseason ends Thursday night in Cleveland. Following the final whistle against the Browns, the season opener with the world watching against Seattle will be just 13 days away.

Here’s a quick run down of what happened in Foxborough on Tuesday during the hour-and-a-half session…

7-on-7

Drake Maye: Carlton Davis III PBU vs. Mack Hollins, short completion to Lan Larison, crosser to Pop Douglas against Marcus Jones, deep tumbling grab by Efton Chism III, deep-ish ball to Mack Hollins.

Tommy DeVito: Crosser to Romeo Doubs (only rep)

Maye: Deep ball for Kyle Williams, incompletion deep(ish) looking for Eli Raridon (looked like a miscommunication), slant to AJ Brown, short completion to Hollins, incompletion to Raridon on the right sideline, completion to Larison over the middle.

Team period

Maye: Combo run stuff on Rhamondre Stevenson (bunch of bodies in on it), short completion to Stevenson, Maye corrals a low snap and hits Hunter Henry on an out, PBU by Kindle Vildor vs. Hollins, quick completion to outside to Raridon.

DeVito: Crosser to Raridon (I have no idea how it such through two different defenders’ hands), dump off to JaMycal Hasty, bad snap (corralled and turns into a scramble), completion up the seam to Chism III.

Field goals

From there, the Patriots worked on some run game stuff after a little scout team action before Andy Borregales was put to the test during a live kicking period on the skinny goal posts. Borregales proceeded to go 5-5, drilling them between 35-50 yards.

Team period

This was a little different, with the top O going against the second defense and vice versa…

Maye: Short completion to Doubs, short completions to Hassan Haskins and Stevenson, crosser to Raridon, Maye scramble, short to Henry, deep crosser to Brown.

DeVito: Incompletion to Chism III, sack (didn’t get the number), run Haskins, drop by Hasty, run stuff, deep grab for Nick DeGennaro, crosser to Tejahun Palmer.

I admittedly did not chart Behren Morton reps at this point because…well, because.

Situational work late

In the final bit of action before calling it a camp, the Pats did their usual late game scenario. Borregales made it a 6-6 day on the skinny posts, drilling a 54-yard ‘game winning’ field goal.
