Former Wellesley High School quarterback Lukas Prock committed to Indiana on Thursday evening. Prock joins Tabor Academy defensive back Brady Scott as the second Massachusetts native to commit to Curt Cignetti’s Hoosiers this off-season. He chose the Hoosiers over schools like Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, and Florida.

Standing 6-foot-2 and 195 pounds, Prock quickly established himself as one of the most dynamic young quarterbacks in the country. During a staggering 2025 sophomore campaign against a tough national schedule, he completed over 73 percent of his passes for 4,330 yards, 41 touchdown passes against just seven interceptions. His ability to shred defenses both within the pocket and on the move turned heads nationwide, earning him high rankings across every major recruiting outlet.

What makes Prock such a coveted signal-caller is his rare blending of poise, anticipation, and off-script playmaking. He possesses the footwork to navigate crowded pockets, the arm strength to fit throws into tight windows at all three levels, and the instincts to keep plays alive when coverage tightens. That mature processing power, combined with high-level efficiency, made him the anchor target for Indiana’s future offensive plans.

For Indiana, securing Prock early establishes crucial momentum in their future recruiting cycles. Pulling a premier passer out of the Northeast prep powerhouse circuit over traditional blue-blood programs underscores the belief recruits have in Cignetti’s vision and system.

As Prock heads into his junior season at Hun, he can focus on playing football the next two years and not on the rigorous day to day grind of recruiting.
