The Patriots have reportedly extended center/guard Ben Brown to a two year, $6.6 million dollar deal.

The swing center, guard has been a valuable depth piece along the offensive line because of his versatility.

Brown, 27, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2022. The Ole Miss product has also spent time with the Seattle Seahawks and Las Vegas Raiders, appearing in one combined game along the way. In October 2023, he was signed off arrived the Las Vegas Raiders’ practice squad.

Brown started 10 games for the Patriots at center last season in place of the injured David Andrews. After the season, Brown was retained as an exclusive rights free agent. This season, he has served as the top backup along the interior offensive line, playing in 15 games with two starts.

By locking in Brown for two more years, the Patriots have solidified a key component of their offensive through the 2027 season. Retaining Brown was important and Eliot Wolf and the front office got it done.
