2016 NFL Draft: NFC South Team Needs.

Atlanta Falcons: S, OT, TE, WR

Needs Breakdown: The Falcons have been active in free agency signing Mohammed Sanu, Alex Mack and Courtesy Upshaw this off-season. Even with those moves, the Falcons still have several needs to fill. They need a safety that can make plays against the pass and support the run. The Falcons also need a right tackle. It was a sore spot for Atlanta last season. Jacob Tamme and Levine Toilolo are not the long term answer at tight end. Atlanta needs to find a dual threat tight end who can block and catch. The Falcons need a third receiver. There no quality depth after Julio Jones and Sanu.

Carolina Panthers: CB, OT, DE, S

Needs Breakdown: The sudden and unexpected departure of Josh Norman leaves a gapping hole in Carolina’s secondary. The Panthers are in the market for a corner and depending how the board shakes out, the Panthers may grab one with the 30th pick. Mike Remmers was abused by Von Miller in Super Bowl 50. He might not be the same. The Panthers need to draft a young tackle that can play either on the left or right side. Charles Johnson’s return helps the Panthers defensive line depth but the Panthers need a young defensive end to replace Jared Allen. Kurt Coleman and Tre Boston are solid players but neither is a long term answer at safety.

New Orleans Saints: DT, CB, DE OG

Needs Breakdown: The Saints need to address their defensive line. They need a starting defensive tackle and a starting left defensive end. It is imperative that they come away from this draft with those two positions addressed. Cornerback continues to be an issue as well. The lack of depth at the position was evident last season given the Saints problems defending the pass. The interior of the Saints need to be addressed as well after Jahri Evans was released earlier this off-season. Look for the Saints to draft a guard at some point in this draft.

Tampa Bay Bucaneers: MLB, DE, WR, CB

Needs Breakdown: The Bucs need a outside linebacker. Lavonte David and Kwon Alexander are very good young players but the Bucs need a SAM linebacker who can play over the tight end. Tampa’s pass rush was anemic last season. The Bucs need a pass rushing defensive end that can get consistent pressure. Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans form one of the best wide receiver tandems in the league but Tampa needs a third and fourth receiver for when the Bucs are in 10 personnel. The signing of veteran Brent Grimes gives the Bucs a starting corner but Tampa could use a young corner who can play in sub packages.
