2016 NFL Draft: NFC West Team Needs.

Arizona Cardinals: CB, OLB, ILB, NT

Needs Breakdown: The Cardinals need to draft a cornerback who can play opposite Patrick Peterson. This draft has four corners who could potentially go in the first round so the Cardinals should be able to fill the need. Linebacker has been an issue for this team. I know defensive coordinator James Bettcher likes playing Deone Buchanan at the MIKE linebacker but that’s not a long term solution. The Cardinals need to draft an outside linebacker that can rush the passer and they need to draft a true middle linebacker. The Cardinals have a decent rotation along their defensive line but they need a nose tackle.

Los Angeles Rams: QB, CB, S, TE

Needs Breakdown: The Rams traded for the number one pick and they are more than likely going to use that pick on Cal quarterback Jared Goff. Once they’ve addressed the quarterback position, the Rams need to use what ever picks they have left on upgrading the secondary and finding a second tight end.

San Francisco 49ers: QB, CB, OG, WR

Needs Breakdown: The 49ers have gone from having arguably the best roster in the league four years ago to one of the worst rosters in the league now. The 49ers could use an upgrade at quarterback but that’s not going to happen in this draft. In an ideal world, the 49ers trade down, stockpile more picks and fill needs. That may or may not happen. Cornerback, guard and wide receiver are all areas that the Niners need to address. With 12 picks in this draft including 9 on day three, the re-tooling of San Francisco’s roster starts next weekend.

Seattle Seahawks: OT, OG, CB, OLB

Needs Breakdown: The Seahawks need to address their offensive line in this draft. They need to find a starting caliber left tackle and they need to draft a guard that can start as well. The core of the vaunted Legion of Boom is still in place but the Seahawks need another corner. At the very least, they need to draft a sub package corner. An outside linebacker who can compete with Michael Morgan for the WILL linebacker spot is also a position the Seahawks could address.
