We rank our Top 30 NFL Draft prospects for New England. There are several talented players on this list including several of them that could get drafted in two weeks.
Here is our list. The list is headlined by UConn’s Skyler Bell who could go as early as the second round.
1. Skyler Bell, WR, UConn: One of the ten best receivers in the draft. Bell should go somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
2. Jude Bowry, OT, Boston College: Bowry has the athleticism to play right tackle but in order for him to start, he may need to kick inside to guard. Projects as an early day three pick.
3. Lewis Bond, WR, Boston College: Bond’s production and skill set make him a draft worthy player. His alignment versatility (Can play the F or the Z) makes him an appealing player.
4. Q. Hutchins, EDGE, Boston College: Hutchins impressed enough at the combine that he could be drafted as a situational pass rusher. The athleticism and arm length make him an intriguing option.
5. Logan Taylor, OG, Boston College: Taylor is a former tackle who will play guard on Sundays. His swing versatility makes him a player a team could take a chance on late in day three.
6. Joe Fagnano, QB, UConn: Fagnano’s size, arm talent and college production make him a day three draft prospect. If he goes undrafted, he will have his pick of several offers from teams around the league.
7. Bryun Parham, LB, UConn: Parham won’t jump out at you testing wise but his tape is really good and he could get drafted middle to late day three.
8. Kevin Cline, OT, Boston College: Versatile swing tackle who projects as a right tackle in the NFL but could also play on the left side in a pinch and kick inside to guard. Late Day 3/UDFA prospect.
9. A.J Pena, EDGE, URI: Pena is recovering from a knee injury but when healthy he is explosive and can make plays. Late day three, priority free agent more than likely.
9. Reymello Murphy, WR, UConn: Murphy had a good season for the Huskies and proved to be a reliable target opposite Bell. Could get drafted late day three.
10. Elias Archie, CB, Brown: Archie ran a sub 4.4 at his pro day and was invited to the Patriots Local Pro Day. He could sneak into the end of day three but likely a UDFA.
11. Aaron Key, LB, UConn: Underrated piece in the UConn defense last season. Key could get drafted but more than likely profiles as a UDFA.
12. D’Mon Brinson, SAF, UConn: Brinson plays with good range and instincts. Also offers special teams potential. Good late day three or UDFA value.
13. Devin Pringle, CB, UConn: Pringle has good size and ball skills. A grinder who could make a team as a special teamer. He will be a UDFA option for teams.
14. Garry Rosemond, CB, Merrimack: Rosmond has good size and ball skills. He routinely played well against FBS opponents and proved he can carve a niche for himself as a corner in the NFL.
15. Louis Hansen, TE, UConn: Versatile tight end who profiles more as a move U tight end. Hansen has good size and can make a roster as a third tight end and special teamer.
16. Trent Jones, DT, UConn: The Iowa State transfer is long and offers alignment versatility. He can play defensive tackle or end in sub packages.
17. Sedarius McConnell, DR, Boston College: McConnell had a good pro day and showed he can move around a front and offer some alignment versatility.
18. Vaughn Pemberton, LB/RB, Boston College: The Northern Illinois transfer was impressive at his Pro Day and could play running back or linebacker if he gets a shot in the NFL.
19. Michael Otty, DT, Bryant: Otty was one of the best defensive lineman in the CAA the past two seasons and projects as a rotational, shade defensive tackle.
20. DeMarr Langford Jr. TE, Albany: The former basketball forward has good size (6-5, 220) and is athletic. He play receiver or tight end.
21. Ayinde Johnson, DB, URI: Former corner impressed scouts at his pro day and could be play safety in the NFL. UDFA player.
22. Jordan Campbell, CB, URI: Athletic corner who has the athleticism and the ball skills to play boundary or field corner. Another UDFA player.
23. Keegan Andrews, P, UMass: A punter? Yes. Andrews has a big time leg and could find himself in an NFL training camp.
24. Ryan Mosesso, OL, UMass: The Marshfield product had a good season and got scouts attention. He was invited to the Patriots Local Pro Day.
25. Joshua Pitsenberger, RB, Yale: Pitsenberger had a terrific career at Yale. He would be best suited as a special teamer and third running back on a roster. He will get a shot as a UDFA.
26. Ty Pezza, WR, Brown: Big receiver who could play tight end. He has generated some interest around the league.
27. Dontae Lunan, LB, Coastal Carolina: Former Bryant linebacker is undersized but plays physical with good instincts.
28. Brock Bethea, OT, URI: Multi-year starter who will sign as a UDFA and get a shot at either tackle or guard.
29. Elijah Howard, RB, CCSU: Howard had a terrific two year run at CCSU. Howard is a big back who could be effective in a time share and he will get that opportunity as an UDFA.
30. Montie Quinn, RB, Curry: Quinn put up monster numbers at Division III Curry College and he will get a shot at going to camp with someone.
