UMass hijacked the news cycle this weekend when Athletic Director Ryan Bamford announced that head coach Walt Bell and defensive coordinator Tommy Restivo were relieved of their duties. The University of Massachusetts announced this afternoon that Walt Bell and defensive coordinator Tommy Restivo were relieved of their duties. The school announced that offensive line coach and run game coordinator Alex Miller would be named the interim head coach for the final three games.
