King Philip coach Brian Lee has taken his program both to the top of the Hockomock League, and also the state. In the last 10 years, KP has won three state titles, including in 2023 in D2 with a win over Marshfield at Gillette Stadium. Coach Lee Carlson is starting to get it going over at Braintree. One of the themes of the 2023 season was the resurgence of the Bay State Conference. Milton won a D3 state title. Walpole was in that final at Gillette. Weymouth had a strong season. Needham made the D1 Final Four. Natick gained some nice wins along the way. Since coming to Avon Old Farms, Jon Wholley has taken the Connecticut school to the top of the NEPSAC football world. Last season, AOF went 7-3 and lost a NEPSAC bowl to Cheshire Academy.
