With this week’s rankings, we took a step back and really shook things up. Things will continue to change, but we went with an emphasis on teams that are doing well in the playoffs, with a few exceptions. Here is what we have, and it should be a great end to the season. The postseason opened with a bang, with a few upsets and other intriguing results. We did not get a ton of movement at the top of the rankings, but there was some toward the back end. It was a huge weekend across the state, with the No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup on Saturday. That No. 2 — St. John’s Prep — beat Catholic Memorial and is now your new No. 1. What a week, as Catholic Memorial’s 41-38 win over Xaverian Friday night highlighted the top games of the weekend.
