The Patriots selected Sacramento State hybrid Marte Mapu with the 76th pick of the third round. Mapu was the 2022 Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year. He has played safety, nickel and linebacker in his college career. Mapu was selected to the Senior Bowl where he more than held his own.
