Recruiting: Avon Old Farms 4 Star Quarterback Ryan Puglisi verbally commits to Georgia

Four star quarterback Ryan Puglisi announced last night that he is verbally committing to Georgia. Puglisi is one of the top quarterbacks in the Class of 2024 and was a priority for the Georgia coaching staff in recent months.

Puglisi was on campus on Saturday to watch the Bulldogs dismantle Vanderbilt. Obviously Kirby Smart, his staff the team and the campus must have made enough of an impression to seal the deal for Puglisi.

Puglisi held 18 total offers. Among the schools that offered him were: Georgia, Alabama, Michigan State, Ole Miss, UMass, UConn, Vanderbilt, Duke, Minnesota, Indiana, Akron, Pitt, Purdue, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Boston College.

The 6-3 205 pound junior is also a good baseball pitcher as well. He is athletic and smooth in the pocket. He is balanced, can recreate passing lanes and has a live arm. His accuracy at all three levels is advanced for his age.

Georgia has had a presence in New England in recent years. The combination of Puglisi’s commitment, and their recent championship success will put them in the conversation for any of the top talent in the region. The Bulldogs are a national brand.
