After stepping in for his father Rob and leading Windsor High School to a Class MM state title and a 12-1 record, Warriors Head Coach Quinn Fleeting will not be leading the program in 2026.

According to a post from the Windsor Football Instagram page. Windsor High School decided to post the head coach position on December 23rd. Fleeting decided to step down on Tuesday.

Fleeting is an alumnus of Windsor High School and was the Connecticut Gatorade Player of the Year in 2013. Fleeting threw for 3,099 yards and 32 touchdowns his senior season. He rushed for 1,000 rushing yards with 10 touchdowns.

Neither the school nor Fleeting were available for comment but according to Rivals.com, Fleeting stepped away to spend more time with family.

Led by Gatorade Player of the Year and Central Connecticut State commit A.J Robinson, the Warriors dominated en route to a 23-13 win over Bunnell in the Class MM Championship game. Robinson finished with 3,647 yards, 50 touchdowns and only three interceptions for the season.

No word yet on who may take over for Fleeting. No interim was named.
