On the eve of training camp, the Patriots have signed the final draft pick of their 2025 class. Running back Tre’veyon Henderson has signed and ready for camp.
Henderson, 22, was selected by the Patriots in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft with the 38thoverall pick out of Ohio State. The 5-foot-10, 202-pounder, produced two seasons of 1,000 yards rushing with 1,248 yards in 2021 and 1,016 in 2024.
With Henderson under contract, the Patriots can now focus on football as training camp gets underway on Wednesday.
Henderson figures to play an integral part on the offense as an all-purpose back and a third down back. He will complement presumptive starter Rhamondre Stevenson well.
Stevenson, Henderson and veteran Antonio Gibson form one of the deepest running back rooms in the NFL and figure to be a big part of the Patriots offense this season.
