The Patriots announced a two year deal with nose Davon Godchaux earlier today. The new is for two years and $208 million. $17.85 million of it is fully guaranteed at signing.
Patriots’ DT Davon Godchaux has signed a two-year, $20.8 million extension with New England that includes $17.85 million fully guaranteed at signing, per @DrewJRosenhaus and @RyanMatha, who negotiated the deal.

The deal ensures that Godchaux will remain in a Patriots uniform for the foreseeable future and it gives the Patriots some future cap flexibility.
Godchaux got off to a good start last season but like the rest of the defense, his play tailed off down the stretch. He is one of the best nose tackles in the league but he needs to be more consistent.
The Patriots are trying to create some cap flexibility not only for this season but next off-season when some of the Belichick 2021 Spending Spree contracts can either be reworked or come off the books completely.
