The Patriots were busy on Wednesday, signing seven players who they released to their practice squad and claiming four other players.

The Patriots claimed LB Curtis Jacobs off waivers from Kansas City, OT Demontrey Jacobs off waivers from Denver, DT Eric Johnson off waivers from Indianapolis and OT Zach Thomas off waivers from the Los Angeles Rams.

In order to add those players, the Patriots cut CB Isaiah Bolden, DT Trysten Hill, G Michael Jordan and WR Jalen Reagor.

The Patriots also started filling in the practice squad signing OT Liam Fornadel, RB Kevin Harris, RB Terrell Jennings, WR Matt Landers, DE Jotham Russell, DB A.J. Thomas and TE Mitchell Wilcox.

It is abundantly obvious that the Patriots are trying to fortify the offensive line, specifically the tackle position with the additions of Jacobs and Thomas. After night’s abysmal performance, they did not have a choice.

Expect the Patriots to make more moves the rest of this week. Several players who were released by the team could find their way back on the practice squad.
