Patriots: Five Patriots that Stood Out in the Preseason Finale against the Raiders

The Patriots lost to the Raiders, 23-6, in their final preseason game on Friday night. It was a frustrating performance overall for the starters, especially on offense. Here are five players that stood out:

Matt Judon: The Patriots best pass rusher was it again on Friday night, creating several good rush opportunities and recording a sack in the second quarter. He looks primed for another double-digit sack season.

LaBryan Ray: The undrafted defensive lineman out of Alabama continues to make a strong case to make the roster. He showed his athleticism late in the second quarter by being ready to blow up a screen pass that fell incomplete and also looked solid in the run game.

Kevin Harris: Harris showed off his power running on a 33-yard rush in the third quarter, which helped set up a field goal. He did have an unfortunate fumble late in the fourth quarter, however.  Harris finished with four carries for 54 yards and the fumble.

Jack Jones: Jones looked strong in pass coverage in the second half, including a 3rd Down pass breakup with 1:47 left in the 3rd quarter.

J.J. Taylor:  Taylor had increased snaps after Ty Montgomery left with an injury. He showed good burst in his two catches for 22 yards. If Montgomery is out for an extended period of time, Taylor and rookie Pierre Strong could compete for the Patriots third running back role.
