Colin Kaepernick is continuing to prove that he truly does not get it. Kaepernick sent out this tweet on Friday.

The tweet is insinuating that police officers are the equivalent to the Runaway Slave Patrol. For a guy who is unemployed and looking for a team to sign him, sending out this tweet is a poor choice.

I know Kaepernick’s supporters will claim he has every right to tweet this out and he does but that is not the point. The poimt is if Kaepernick wants to play quarterback again, he needs to stop with anti-police rhetoric. Otherwise, he will never put on an NFL uniform again.

Kaepernick has a choixe to make. He can focus on football and tone down the rhetoric or he can continue to “take a stand” when it comes to social issues and not play football.

Either way, he should figure it out soon because NFL training camps open at the end of next month. If he doesn’t, he will be unemployed and out of the league.
