NFL: Week 11 Picks

Andy Reid and the Chiefs have an opportunity to get back on track today.

Week 10 was meh for me but I like some of the match ups this week and I’m feeling lucky. I have a good handle on some of these games and I am ready to advise you on what teams to pick.

Here goes!

11/19 1:00 ET Detroit -3 At Chicago 41: The Bears can’t score as evident by their ugly loss to the Packers last week. I made the mistake of picking them in that game. I am not doing it again. I like Detroit as a road dog in this game.

11/19 1:00 ET Kansas City -10 At NY Giants 46: The Chiefs seems out of whack right now and need to get their mojo back. What better way to do that than to play a Giants team that couldn’t stop a facet drip right now. Take the Chiefs as a road favorite.

11/19 1:00 ET At Miami PK Tampa Bay 41.5: Yeah, this game is a pick em because combined both teams might not score 30 points. Anyway, the Bucs beat the Jets last week while the Dolphins got smacked by Carolina. For that reason alone, I am taking the Bucs on the road today. They are playing “better” than the Phins right now.

11/19 1:00 ET Baltimore -2 At Green Bay 38: The Packers would win the NFC if Aaron Rodgers were healthy. He’s not so they are an average team at best. Baltimore has struggled on the road this season but they will put it together today and win at Lambeau in what should be a close game. I’ve got B-More as a road favorite.

11/19 1:00 ET At Minnesota -2.5 LA Rams 45.5: I’m all in on Sean McVay and the Rams. They might just be the most complete team in the NFC (Sorry Eagles fans) That being said, they need a signature road win. Beating a good Vikings team in Minnesota would give them that. I am putting my money on the Rams as a small road dog.

11/19 1:00 ET At Houston -1.5 Arizona 38.5: The Cardinals need to win games like this to keep their faint playoff hopes alive. Houston is a shell of the team they were with Deshaun Watson. They are terrible offensively. The fact that they are favored in this game is a joke. Take the road dog folks.

11/19 1:00 ET Jacksonville -7.5 At Cleveland 37: Former Browns safety Tashaun Gipson had some choice words for his former team this week. Normally I would say what he said was I’ll-advised but the Browns suck and can’t do anything about it. Jacksonville wins this game and covers with ease.

11/19 1:00 ET At New Orleans -7.5 Washington 51.5: This game has the potential to be a high scoring affair. The Saints continue to fly under the radar in the NFC but they are good. Washington needs to win this game from a playoff positioning standpoint. I don’t think they win but they will keep it close. I’ve got the Redskins as road dogs in a tight game.

11/19 4:05 ET At LA Chargers -5.5 Buffalo 41.5: The Bills are toast. They’ve benched Tyrod Taylor and their defense is a mess. The Chargers should have no problem beating a team that appears to be tanking the rest of this season.

11/19 4:25 ET At Denver -2.5 Cincinnati 38.5: The Broncos playoff hopes are on life support so they need to win this game or their season could be over for all intents and purposes. Denver needs to snap their five game skid and the inconsistent Bengals at home are just what the doctor ordered. Put the cash on Denver as a small home favorite.

11/19 4:25 ET New England -7 Oakland 54.5: The Raiders also face a must win situation today. The problem is, you don’t want to have to play a must win game against the Patriots. Oakland’s defense is a sieve. They will give up a bunch of points today. Expect a shootout in Mexico City with the Patriots winning by two scores.

11/19 8:30 ET Philadelphia -5.5 At Dallas 48: The Cowboys are a shell of the team they are with Ezekiel Elliott as evident in last week’s loss to the Falcons. The Eagles are better than Atlanta so things could get ugly for Dallas tonight. I think this will be a back and forth affair for a while. Despite that, I see Philly winning by a touchdown and covering.
Monday Night Football Line
11/20 8:30 ET At Seattle -3 Atlanta 45: The Legion of Boom is now the Legion of Gloom with Richard Sherman and Cam Chancellor out for the season. Former coach Dan Quinn and his high flying Falcons (no pun intended) will take advantage of a beat up Seattle secondary and win this game by a touchdown. Put your money on Atlanta.
