NEFJ: When did you start playing football?
NO: “Started playing football in 8th grade my first position was OL.. it’s funny bc in 9th grade I actually got moved up to varsity from the freshmen team. Didn’t actually start playing DE until 10th grade.”
NEFJ: What do you love about the game of football?
NO: “The adrenaline rush, the aspects you learn, camaraderie, brother hood, and the moments where you make your family and community proud.”
NEFJ: What made you decide to commit to Boston College? Why was it the right school for you?
NO: “I committed to BC because of opportunities and academics. I can 100% say that I will be leaving this school a completely different person than when I first came in. Outside of football BC has showed me a lot and I’m forever grateful to have had these experiences. From building friendships to events, it’s been amazing.”
NEFJ: How much has Boston College prepared you for the opportunity to play in the NFL?
NO: “For starters, having been under two different coaching staffs, I feel I was able to adopt a sense of how different programs are ran. The schemes I’ve played under, playing versatile roles, obtaining knowledge from coaches like Oghobaase, Obrien, Lukabu, Hafley, and Lewis has definitely helped me a ton.”
NEFJ: When you are not playing football or doing anything football related, what do you like to do off the field?
NO: “When I’m not doing anything football related, I like to go drive around, study (bc I’m still in school), listen to music, hang out with friends, and etc.”
NEFJ: What is your favorite pregame meal and hype song?
NO: “My pregame meal will probably be spaghetti with meat sauce and corn bread. And right before the game I’m most likely playing Bossman dlow, Lil baby, or gunna.”
NEFJ: What is an NFL team getting in you if they draft or sign you?
NO: “Someone who is humble and hungry.”
