Former UMass running back Kayron Lynch-Adams announced yesterday that he is pulling his name out of consideration for the NFL Draft and is entering the transfer portal.
Lynch-Adams is coming off of a season in which he rushed for 1,157 yards, 12 rushing touchdowns and averaged 4.9 yards per carry. Lynch-Adams also caught 20 passes for 118 yards.
The Warren, Ohio native stands at 5-10 205 pounds and would be appealing to schools looking to add a veteran running back who has already produced at the FBS level.
Lynch-Adams graduates in January so he can enroll early and participate in spring practices if he receives offers and commits to a school.
For his career, Lynch-Adams has rushed for 1,888 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Lynch-Adams is versatile. His ability to run between the tackles and be a factor out of the backfield as a receiver should make him an attractive player in the portal.
