The season is winding down for some programs but here is our top 25 after week five.
1. Catholic Memorial (3-0): Knights host Xaverian in a winner take all showdown for the Catholic Conference.
2. Central Catholic (5-0): Raiders have outscored opponents 180-26 this season.
3. Mansfield (4-0): Hornets keep rolling along with a 28-0 win over Attleboro.
4. Lincoln-Sudbury (5-0): Warriors beat AB 28-21 and will now face Cambridge for the DCL title.
5. Natick (4-0): Redhawks destroy Wellesley ahead of their Thanksgiving showdown with Framingham.
6. Xaverian (4-0): After beating on arch rival
7. Tewksbury (4-0): The Redmen cruise to a 35-0 win over Lawrence ahead of their showdown with St. John’s Prep
8. Springfield Central (1-0): The Eagles are playing Minnechaug for the second time this season.
9. Melrose (4-0): Red Raiders beat Burlington 37-6 to remain undefeated.
10. Reading (3-0): Rockets stay in the top ten with a 35-0 win over Arlington.
11. Milford (4-1): Milford wins a shootout at Stoughton to remain in the top 12.
12. Marblehead (5-0): The Magicians have scored 176 points this season. They are rolling.
13. North Attleboro (5-0): Red Rocketeers beat Foxboro and clinch the Davenport Division of the Hockomock League.
14. Bishop Fenwick (5-0): The Crusaders have only given up 22 points this season.
15. Plymouth South (4-1): The Panthers pick up a statement win over Scituate and set up a showdown with North Quincy for the Patriot League title.
16. Brockton (4-1): The Boxers finish their season with a big win over BR.
17. Wachusett (5-0): The Mountaineers move up in our poll after thumping Leominister.
18. Bridgewater-Raynham (4-1): Trojans can’t send out Dan Buron a winner in his final game. Despite that, Coach Buron had a tremendous career. Congratulations on your retirement coach.
19. Winthrop (4-0): Vikings have a tough test against Danvers this week.
20. Acton-Boxboro (4-1): The Colonels proved that they are in the same class as LS losing a tough 28-21 game.
21. Marshfield (3-0): Up and coming Rams face a good test this week against Hingham.
22. Ipswich (5-0): The Tigers make their debut in the top 25. They have outscored opponents by 100 points this season.
23. Milton (4-1): Wildcats have quietly been solid as usual in the Bay State League.
24. Rockland (5-0): The Bulldogs make their debut in our Top 25. They have only given up 21 points on the season.
25. Middleboro (3-1): The Sachems make their debut in our top 25 after an impressive win over Billerica. They face Abington this week with the South Shore title on the line.
