Another strong week of high performances on the New England High School Gridiron.

Here are some of the best performances from the week that was.

Connecticut

Plainville’s Anthony Abarno completed 16 of 22 passes for 262 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 35-20 victory over Rocky Hill. Teammate Chase Bouchard had nine catches for 141 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also had 3 carries for 41 yards and a touchdown. DUDES!

Glastonbury’s Dante Casdia rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown on 29 carries. He also caught four passes for 44 yards in a 28-22 overtime loss against New Britain. DUDE!

New Britain’s Jayden Allen rushed for 128 yards and 2 touchdowns on 20 carries in New Britain’s 28-22 win over Glastonbury. DUDE!

Killingly’s Hayden Allard rushed for 154 yards and 2 touchdowns on 14 carries in the Trailblazers 57-16 win over Fitch. DUDE!

Seymour’s Anthony Cortello passed for 244 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 47-0 win over Watertown. DUDE!

Dae’Sean Greaves caught 10 passes for 165 yards and 3 touchdowns. Teammate Nate Craft rushed for 202 yards and 2 touchdowns on 13 carries in a 48-20 win over Crosby. DUDES!

East Hartford Quarterback Anthony Caravallo completed 29-of-37 passes for 534 yards and 7 touchdowns in a 62-54 loss to Enfield. Teammate Curtis Barber, hauled in nine catches for 235 yards and 3 touchdowns in the loss. DUDES!

Notre Dame Prep’s Ja’cari Harris rushed for 213 yards and 3 touchdowns in a 35-32 loss to Nonnewaug. DUDE!

Staples Chaz Darby rushed for for 65 yards and 2 touchdowns on 13 carries. He also caught two passes for 12 yards and a touchdown in the Wreckers 49-13 win over Fairfield Warde. DUDE!

Massachusetts

Natick’s James Mortarelli rushed for 251 yards and 3 touchdowns. He added seven tackles and two sacks on defense in a 28-8 victory over Wellesley. DUDE!

Tabor’s Peter Bourque completed 22-of-35 for 368 yards and scored 2 touchdowns. Kaiden Drinkwater had 10 catches for 198 yards in the Seawolves 27-24 win over St. Paul’s. DUDES!

Medfield’s Brady McCormack rushed for 224 yards and 4 touchdowns. He broke the Medfield record for career touchdowns in a 48-7 win over Bellingham. DUDE!

Winchester’s Gianni Deprimeo rushed for 3 touchdowns in the Red and Black’s 48-6 win over Lexington. DUDE!

Catholic Memorial’s Kise Flannery completed 12-of-13 passes for 161 yards and 5 touchdowns. He also rushed for 71 yards in a 49-17 win over St. John’s (Shrewsbury). DUDE!

Masco’s Jack Fabiano rushed for 338 yards and 5 touchdowns, continuing his torrid pace the last two weeks. Quarterback Drew Gustafson threw for 307 yards and 2 touchdowns. Receiver Cal Weidman had 11 catches for 131 yards in a 45-42 win over Marblehead. DUDES!

Lynn English’s Shane Knowlton Simard rushed for 328 yards and 6 touchdowns in a 50-35 win over Everett. DUDE!

Scituate’s Jonny Donovan completed 20-of-24 passes for 295 yards and 4 total touchdowns. Miller Shea had eight catches for 155 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Sailors 26-7 win over North Quincy. DUDES!

Hanover’s Max Morin completed 13-of-17 for 274 yards and 3 touchdowns. Receiver Sebastian Brown had 11 catches for 134 yards and 2 touchdowns and Brandon Errico had two catches for 103 yards and a touchdown in a 42-21 win over Quincy. DUDES!

Quarterback Jack McDonald completed 22-of-32 for 185 yards and 2 touchdowns. Austin Rodenheiser rushed for 59 yards and 2 touchdowns in Holliston’s 29-21 win over Norwood. DUDES!

Case’s Aedan Borges had 28 carries for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns and made 10 tackles and kicked a field goal in the Cardinals 25-22 victory over Seekonk. DUDE!

Shawsheen’s Jake Banda had 13 carries for 160 yards and 2 touchdowns on the ground. He also caught five passes for 47 yards and a touchdown in the Rams 42-20 win over Greater Lawrence. DUDE!

Arlington Catholic’s John Recinito passed for 222 yards and 2 touchdowns and also rushed for 62 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 42-8 win over East Boston. DUDE!

Zay Whigham scored two defensive touchdowns, Ethan O’Connell rushed for 108 yards and a touchdown on three carries in Archbishop Williams’ 30-0 win over Bishop Stang. DUDE!

South Shore Voke’s Dillon O’Brien rushed for 138 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns and added one receiving touchdown and a kick return touchdown in a 42-20 victory over Monomoy/SJP. DUDE!

Abington’s Jack Reilly completed 11-of-12 passes for 189 yards and a touchdown in the Green Wave’s 32-7 victory over Rockland. DUDE!

Old Rochester’s Benji Baptiste had 13 carries for 132 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also caught three passes for 35 yards in a 42-6 win over Dighton-Rehoboth. DUDE!

Maine

Portland’s Cordell Jones had 24 rushes for 163 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also completed 5-of-7 passes for 79 yards and a touchdown. Jones also had 14 tackles on defense in a 33-21 win over Exeter (NH)
