Dak Prescott is the Quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys. PERIOD!

I wish that Cowboys owner Jerry Jones would just come out and say it. I wish that he would just admit that Dak Prescott is the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys moving forward.

Prescott has earned the job and while I get that it is not fair to Wally Pipp Tony Romo, it is the right move for the Dallas Cowboys now and for the future.

Romo has given his heart and soul to the Dallas Cowboys but aside from a couple of playoff appearances and gaudy passing statistics, Romo has won nothing in Dallas

The NFL is a bottom line business and the bottom line is, Dak Prescott is playing well and deserves to be the Cowboys starting quarterback. Not just this season, but beyond this season as well.

I know Tony Romo is revered in Dallas but the Cowboys are 5-1 under Prescott and are a legit Super Bowl contender. Do Cowboys fans value loyalty to Romo or winning?

No offense to Romo but he is not Roger Staubach. The Cowboys wouldn’t be replacing a living legend. Starting Prescott for the rest of this season and beyond is the right decision for the organization.

Jerry Jones has made many questionable decisions during his tenure as Cowboys owner. Sticking with Prescott at quarterback would be one of his best decisions.

If Jones loves winning as much as he says he does, then he will do what’s best for the Cowboys and name Dak Prescott the team’s starting quarterback. There is no decision to be made here because the choice is obvious.
