I can’t say I’m surprised that Colin Kaepernick refused to stand up for the national anthem the other night against the Packers. It’s par for the course for a guy who is immature and has a lot of growing up to do. 

Kaepernick has been a major league bust since the 49ers rewarded him with a $114 million dollar extension in 2014. He has not lived up to the contract and it’s obvious that the pressure of meeting expectations are getting to him. Kaepernick is getting paid $19 million dollars this season and he is more than likely going to back up Blaine Gabbert.

Look, I don’t have a problem with Kaepernick stating his views publicly but to disrespect the American flag the way he did, that really pisses me off. It’s classless and it prove that Kaepernick is clueless.

If Kaepernick really wanted to make a statement, he should have spoke out against inner city gun violence. Instead, he chose to sit during the national anthem and take a stand against his country. A country mind you that afforded him the opportunity to play football and become a multi-millionaire. 

Kaepernick’s actions proved that he has a lot of growing up to do. He doesn’t get it. On field performance isn’t the only reason he’s going to lose starting his job. Kaepernick’s attitude also contributed to his decline. Both and off the field. Personally, I hope Kaepernick hears about this incident for the reason of his career. He deserves it.
