New Hampshire hires Sean Goldrich as Head Football Coach

Courtesy of UNH Athletics The University of New Hampshire announced the hiring of Sean Goldrich as the program’s new Head Football Coach. Like his predecessor, Rick Santos, Goldrich played quarterback for the Wildcats from 2012-15. He threw for 7,536 yards and 47 touchdowns. Scott James named interim head coach at UNH

The University of New Hampshire has officially turned to a familiar and highly decorated hand to lead its football program through a sudden period of transition. Director of Athletics Allison Rich announced on that Scott James has been named the interim head football coach for the Wildcats. The move follows the resignation of Rick Santos, who stepped down to accept the head coaching position at the University of Pennsylvania.
