BC’s 2025 recruiting class continues to grow; now ranked Top 40 in the country

As is often the case with any college program, keeping a fence around the local high schools and bringing in talent from your own backyard is goal No. 1.

Goal No. 2 is to convince kids from outside the region that what you’re building is worth leaving home and starting an entirely new chapter of your life in a new state.

This new BC staff is doing the second part very, very well.

Over the last two weeks, the Eagles have added three more commits to their 2025 recruiting class, making it 20 total. Currently, BC has the 38th ranked recruiting class according to Rivals, putting them in front of programs like Mississippi, UCLA, Texas Tech, Baylor, Northwestern and Michigan State.

New Jersey safety Marcus Upton was the latest to commit, announcing on Friday night that he’d be an Eagle after de-committing from Syracuse about a month ago. Upton’s a talented athlete who also plays receiver and had 600 yards receiving as a junior. More importantly, he had seven INT’s including one pick six. Upton had 15 total offers from some significant programs. The list included BC, Syracuse, UConn, Buffalo, Akron, Jacksonville State, Monmouth, UNH, NC State, Pitt, Temple, Old Dominion, Towson, Western Kentucky and West Virginia.

Prior to Upton committing, defensive tackle Josiah Victor out of Georgia committed. Victor is a 6’2″ 290lbs and chose BC over some other huge offers. Victor had a total of eight offers from huge programs and interest from 10 total. BC, Arizona State, Colorado, Duke, Georgia, Georgia Southern, Memphis, Toledo, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest were all interested. The only schools on that list that hadn’t officially offered him yet were GT and Wake.

A few days before that, offensive tackle Denzil Williams also followed the #CommitToBillO’Brien movement. Listed at 6’3″ and 290 lbs. Williams Jr. is a product of Stepniac in New York. Williams Jr. was highly coveted by many teams in the Northeast and had a total of 17 offers. The offer list included BC, Buffalo, UConn, Delaware, Bryant, Duke, Fordham, Georgetown, James Madison, Kent State, UMass, Monmouth, Pitt, Stony Brook, Temple UNLV and Syracuse.

It’s been quote a run for this staff with this regime truly selling kids on an entirely new era and feel when it comes to BC football. Now, time will tell if all these guys keep their word or hop back in the portal, but as of right now, it’s hard to deny the momentum and talent from around the country that the Eagles are bringing in.
