For the majority of the 2-10 slog that was the 2025 season for BC, we talked about how much change this roster needed.
It was time. In the coming days and weeks after the season ended, BC really didn’t have any other choice when upwards of 30 players entered the transfer portal, which also wasn’t much of a surprise.
So, new GM Kenyatta Watson, Bill O’Brien have now had the opportunity to completely reshape the roster in whatever image they envision for the future. The first steps of that building process was going hard in the portal, something some teams have been apprehensive about doing. But, the Eagles had no choice and dove in head first.
What did it result in? 26 transfer commits that should all be here and ready to go for spring ball. Some from small schools, others from big schools. The method to the madness was pretty clear though: bring in good character guys that either had success or experience at an FCS or D2 school, or go get highly-recruited athletes from big time programs (Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan State, etc.) that may not have seen much playing time, but have plenty of eligibility left and at least saw and felt what big time programs operate like.
Here is the full final list of the transfers that are joining the Eagles:
John Owens – LS (Holy Cross)
Mason McKenzie – QB (Saginaw Valley State)
Grayson Wilson – QB – (Arkansas)
Javarius Green – WR (UNC)
Jackson Wade – WR (Florida)
Demetrius Ballard – DL (Buffalo)
Anthony Palano – LB (Washington State)
KJ Sampson – DL (Florida State)
Reggie Jackson – OL (Jacksonville State)
Kristian Phillips – OL (Michigan State)
Trevon Humphrey – OL (NC Central)
Kameron Howard – S (Alabama)
Evan Dickens – RB (Liberty)

Most – if not all – of these guys should be here for the spring semester and spring ball as the staff tries to hit the ground running and get everyone on the same page.
