EASTON- It was your typical hot summer morning on the campus of Stonehill College on Saturday morning. We visited with the Skyhawks ahead of the 2024 season. Practice was uptempo and competitive, something Eli Gardner and his staff strive for each and every day. Coming off of a season in which the Skyhawks finished 5-5 and 4-3 in the NEC, expectations are high for the program as the Skyhawks enter……

AP Photo/Mark Stockwell It was a good weekend for the first round quarterbacks in week one of the preseason. At least for five of the six that were drafted. Drake Maye did not play enough to make an impression. Here is how the rookie quarterbacks did in limited action this weekend. Caleb Williams (First overall): 4/7, 95 yards, 101.8 passer rating Jayden Daniels (Second overall): 2/3, 45 yards, 1 rushing…

Here are my grades for the Patriots after their 17-3 win over Carolina. A QB Joe Milton: Milton threw for 54 yards and a touchdown pass while rushing for 25 yards. He gave the…
FOXBOROUGH- The Patriots made their 2024 season debut on Thursday night in a 17-3 win over the Carolina Panthers. It was far from pretty. The game was a slog until Joe Milton came in and gave the Patriots offense a spark. He played well in the fourth quarter and gave Patriots fans something to cheer about. Here are seven points on tonight’s game. 1.Maye plays one series: Drake Maye played only…
Football season is upon us. The 2024 season kicks off with the preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers. Want to talk ball? Comment below in the comments section. We’re live until the fourth quarter. 1.Patriots go on defense first. But before that, we have the new kick return which I am not a fan of. Notable Patriots playing on defense: Kyle Dugger, Anfernee Jennings, Deatrich Wise Jr, Christian Gonzalez. Wise…
Photo by Fred Kfoury III/Icon Sportswire It is preseason game number one. Not much planning went into this one so do not expect a lot. What I am looking for more than anything else is how the Patriots will use personnel and what base plays they will run on offense and what base fronts and coverages they will run on defense. Defensively, I will be focused on fronts and pressures….
