Last Wednesday was the first National Signing Day for the 2025 season and while UNH didn’t make anything official on the actual day, the program did finally do so on Monday.

The No. 19-ranked Wildcats – yes, UNH is still in the Top 20 despite the playoffs still going on – announced the addition of six recruits in a statement Monday afternoon. The players are listed below:

Seven Bullock, (WR), Punta Gorda, Fla.
Colin Couture, (OL), Londonderry, N.H.
Jameson Dion, (S), Amherst, MA
Davien Morales, (CB), Springfield, MA
Arvid Sillberg, (OL), Gothenburg, Sweden (Taft School)
Caden True, (LB), Saco, Maine (Deerfield Academy)

Head coach Rick Santos also had a few comments in the statement as well.

“The landscape of college recruiting is changing, and our staff has done a great job adapting to the new climate,” Santos said. “The early signing period is now before the transfer portal opens so we have focused on signing game-changing high school
talent and will add some immediate impact transfers in the next month.”
“Our coaching staff has done an excellent job of recruiting this year, and we were able to bring in some extremely bright, young players during the early signing period,” Santos added. “We put a lot of effort into not just identifying gifted athletes but also in signing young men with excellent moral character, integrity, and work ethic.

“Our program will achieve future success thanks to the contributions of these student-athletes who will help us build on a great foundation of excellence.”

With most of this group coming from New England or at least New England schools, it’s further proof how much of an emphasis the local programs are putting on trying to keep strong New England talent home in the area in the ever-changing world of college football.

The Wildcats also have the luxury of selling 16 playoff appearances in the last 20 seasons when trying to recruit some of that elite talent, which is a resume few of the 16 Division 1 schools here can match.
