Holy Cross announces loaded list of local participants for NFL Pro Day

Worcester will be the center of the football universe next Thursday.

Holy Cross is hosting its annual NFL Pro Day and while there’s been quite a bit of talent participating the last few years, the buzz around this particular event has never been higher.

UNH’s Dylan Laube and Holy Cross’ Jalen Coker and CJ Hanson are highly touted prospects who have done wonders for their draft stock over the last few months. With new Holy Cross head coach Dan Curran being a UNH alum, he’s also helped out Wildcats’ head coach Rick Santos by having a bunch of other UNH guys on hand as well. Merrimack will be well represented as Curran tries to help some of his former players get a look too.

In total, 20 players from 10 schools around New England will be on hand to show scouts what they can do. Who knows, maybe an NFL team discovers a diamond in the rough, that’s what Pro Days are all about.

Laube, Coker and Hanson can all guarantee themselves of hearing their names called in April with one more good performance, but for the other 17 guys, it’s not hyperbolic to call it the biggest job interview of their lives.
