NFL At Large: Week 11 Preview and Picks

Week 12 has some intriguing match ups that will shape the rest of the season and start bringing some clarity to the playoff picture in both conferences.

Here our picks

11/20 1:00 ET At Indianapolis -2.5 Tennessee 52.5 -$145 +$125: I’m taking the Titans here. Tennessee is legit folks and people need to start seeing them as a playoff contender because they are.

I know Indy won the first match up but the Titans are playing better now they’ve played well in Indianapolis in the past. Take theTitans as a road dog.

11/20 1:00 ET At Detroit -6 Jacksonville 47.5 -$260 +$220: I like the Lions as a home favorite. Detroit has flown quietly under the radar. People are starting to take notice however. Detroit’s schedule is favorable moving forward and they are going to be a good play as a favorite. Take them in this one with confidence.

11/20 1:00 ET At Kansas City -7 Tampa Bay 44.5 -$320 +$260: The Chiefs are a no brainier play as a favorite in this one. Tampa Bay is young and they have struggled on the road this season, especially against quality opponents. I like the Chiefs by two scores. They’ll win this game by ten points.

11/20 1:00 ET At NY Giants -7 Chicago 41.5 -$310 +$260: The Bears are awful and as inconsistent as the Giants have been this season, they’ll hold serve at home and win by double digits.

The Giants are 6-3 and a big reason for that has been their offense. The Bears are generous on defense and they’ll give up plenty of points today. Take the Giants in this one.

11/20 1:00 ET At Minnesota -2 Arizona 40 -$130 +$110: The Vikings are a mess. They’ve lost five in a row and what was once a dominant defense, is now flawed.

The Cardinals haven’t been as great on offense as we thought but they’ll do enough today to beat a Vikings team that just can’t score.

11/20 1:00 ET At Cincinnati -2.5 Buffalo 47 -$145 +$125: The Bengals has been wildly inconsistent but I think this is a good match up for them.

Buffalo is just as inconsistent so when you have two teams that are so all over the map, you take the home team. That’s why I’m taking the Bengals as a home favorite. Cincy has been a good home play through the years, especially when they are favored by a small number.

11/20 1:00 ET At Dallas -7.5 Baltimore 45 -$340 +$280: -7.5 is a big number for me, even for the red hot Cowboys. I think Dallas will win this game but they’ll struggle offensively against a Ravens defense that is quietly playing at an elite level.

Take the Ravens as a road dog. They’ll hang around in this one and keep it close. Dallas wins by a field goal.

11/20 1:00 ET Pittsburgh -8.5 At Cleveland 43.5 -$380 +$320: Call me crazy but I like the Browns as a home dog in this one. Sure the Steelers will win this one but the Browns will play them tough and only lose by a touchdown. I know Cleveland looks hopeless right now, but they’ll come to play today.

11/20 4:05 ET Miami -1 At Los Angeles 39.5 -$120 +$100: The Jared Goff era has officially begun in L.A and its going to start with a win. I still don’t buy the Dolphins. I know they’ve played better the past month but it’s hard to pass up the opportunity to take the home standing Rams in this one. Take them with confidence.

11/20 4:25 ET New England -12 At San Francisco 51.5 -$700 +$500: Even without Gronk, the Patriots will win this one handily. San Francisco is terrible. Take them as a road favorites.

11/20 4:25 ET At Seattle -6.5 Philadelphia 43 -$290 +$245: The Seahawks have found their mojo and they are quietly reassertimg themselves as a legit contender in the NFC.

The Eagles have been good at home this season but the road has been a different story, especially for young quarterback Carson Wentz. -6.5 is a big number but not for the Seahawks at home. I like them by two scores.

11/20 8:30 ET At Washington -3 Green Bay 49 -$145 +$125: The Packers are toast! Their 4-5 record is no abberation. They are not very good. I’m taking the Skins in this one as a home favorite. -3 is a nice, short number for a home favorite. They’ll cover easily because they’ll win by a score.

11/21 8:30 ET Oakland- 6 Houston 46 -$260 +$220: The NFL returns to Mexico City for the first time since 2005. This will be the first regular season game in Mexico City.

It should be a good one. The Texans have struggled on the road this season but this isn’t a road game. I think Oakland will win this game but the Texans will play them tough. That’s why I’m taking them as a dog in this one.
