NFL At Large: Week 10 Preview and Picks

Week 10 features some good money games. It’s a good week to play the favorite. There are several quality road favorites you can bet on.

11/13 1:00 ET At Jacksonville -2.5 Houston 42 -$150 +$130: The Texans as a -2.5 point road favorite. I’m taking them in this game. Despite their offensive struggles on the road, I like the Texans today against Jacksonville’s porous defense.

11/13 1:00 ET At Carolina -3 Kansas City 44 -$160 +$140: Sorry Panthers fans, but it’s not your team’s year. Carolina has struggled at home this season. I see that trend continuing today. The Chiefs have played well on the road this season. I’m going with Kansas City as a road dog to win by a touchdown.

11/13 1:00 ET At New Orleans -3 Denver 50 -$150 +$130: I like the Broncos as a road dog in this one. Denver plays great defense and they’ll run the ball enough against a pourous Saints defense to keep Drew Brees on the sideline. I think this game is easy money. Take Denver as a road dog.

11/13 1:00 ET Los Angeles -1 At NY Jets 39 -$120 +$100: I’m the Rams as a road favorite in this game. The Jets are starting Bryce Petty at quarterback today. Look for the Rams front four to have a field day against a struggling Jets offensive line and drop Petty several times. Take the Rams. I like them by a field goal.

11/13 1:00 ET At Philadelphia -1 Atlanta 49 -$120 +$100: Give me Carson Wentz and the Eagles as a home favorite in this game. They are undefeated at the Linc this season which includes wins against the Steelers and Vikings.  I still don’t buy the Falcons. Atlanta’s defense is horrid. Put your money on the home team here.

11/13 1:00 ET At Washington -2.5 Minnesota 42 -$135 +$115: The Vikings are a mess offensively. No offense to offensive coordinator Pat Shumur, but they will struggle to score points for the rest of the season. It’s a shame because their defense is playing well. I like the Redskins as a home favorite. They’ll score enough points to win by a touchdown.

11/13 1:00 ET Green Bay -3 At Tennessee 48.5 -$155 +$135: The Packers are lucky that the Vikings have fallen apart otherwise they would be fighting for a wild card spot instead of the NFC North title. Tennessee is good offensively but as we saw last week, they give up a lot of points. I think Green Bay will have a field day offensively. I’m taking the Packers as a road dog to cover by double digits.

11/13 1:00 ET Chicago -3 At Tampa Bay 45.5 -$150 +$130: The Bucs have been so inconsistent at home this season. That’s why it’s so easy to take the Bears as a road favorite. Don’t sleep on John Fox’s team. They beat Minnesota two weeks ago and they’ve had two weeks to prepare for this game. Take Chicago as a road fav. They’ll cover.

11/13 4:05 ET At San Diego -4.5 Miami 49 -$210 +$180: The Bolts are a much better team at home, especially on offense. They scored 43 points against the Titans last week and Miami’s defense is just as bad. San Diego will push 40 this week and beat the surging Dolphins. Take the Bolts. I think they win by two scores.

11/13 4:25 ET At Arizona -13.5 San Francisco 47 -$1050 +$700: The Niners are a disaster. Take the Cardinals as a double digit home favorite. They’ll cover easily.

11/13 4:25 ET At Pittsburgh -3 Dallas 50.5 -$155 +$135: I like the Steelers as a home favorite. I know they have lost three in a row and I know Dallas is hot, but that won’t matter. The Steelers will rise to the occasion, play well and win by a touchdown. Put the money on the home standing Steelers.

11/13 8:30 ET At New England -7.5 Seattle 49 -$345 +$285: The Patriots are virtually unbeatable at home with Tom Brady under center. -7.5 is a big number against a team like Seattle but I think the Patriots will cover. Take them with cofidence.

11/14 8:30 ET Cincinnati -1 At NY Giants 47.5 -$120 +$100: The Giants are a good home play, especially in prime time. That’s why I am a little confused as to why they are a home dog in this game. I am  taking them as a home doggie. It’s too good a bet to pass up.
