1. Kevin Durant signing with the Warriors would be the equivalent of Cam Newton signing with the Broncos. That’s the best comp I could come up with.

2. The reason why you don’t see ridiculous contracts in the NFL like you do in the NBA is simple. The NFL has a hard cap. The NBA on the other hand has a soft cap and it’s a joke! 

3. I’m sorry, but the Canadian Football league should have suspended wide receiver Duron Carter for more than one game for his actions last Thursday night. He embarrassed himself, the Montreal Alouettes and the league! 

4. You know people are yearning for football when one of the lead stories of the day in all of sports is whether or not Tom Brady is going to the RNC in two weeks to support Trump.

5. Kudos to LSU for requiring its athletes and coaches to participate in sexual harassment training. In light of what happened at Baylor, I think LSU is smart in being proactive when it comes to educating it’s coaches and players.
