5 match-ups to watch vs. the Kansas City Chiefs

The Patriots host the Chiefs in a game that was supposed to be played on Monday night but was flexed out by the NFL.

Despite the game being moved, there are still several key match ups to watch in this game.

What makes football so great is the match-ups within the game. Here are five match-ups to focus on in this game.

1. Patrick Mahomes vs. the Patriots secondary: Plastering will be key today for the Patriots secondary. They need to cover for as long as possible against Mahomes and a young but skilled group of receivers. Mahomes ability to extend plays puts secondaries in a bind. The Patriots secondary needs to be disciplined in coverage today. They cannot come off their man to chase Mahomes around.

2. Travis Kelce vs. Kyle Dugger: Dugger will have Kelce man to man in certain situations but the Patriots will also double team Kelce as well. Regardless of how the Patriots opt to deal with Kelce, these two will match up plenty in this game. The Patriots could also match up a corner against Kelce depending on situation and alignment.

3. Jonathan Jones on Rashee Rice: The rookie wideout has been the Chiefs best receiver this season do look for Jones to match up with him, especially when the Patriots are in man coverage.

4. Patriots Interior OL vs. Chris Jones: Jones is arguably the best defensive lineman in the NFL and a match up nightmare. He has been been the key cog to this Chiefs defense all season. David Andrews and company will have their hands full with him. Look for the Patriots to double Jones in as many situations as possible, regardless of play call.

5. Christian Barmore vs. Joe Thuney: Current Patriot vs. former Patriot. This should be a great match up inside. Barmore has had a pro bowl season but today he matches up against one of the top interior offensive lineman in the NFL in Thuney. Should be a great match up.
