The Patriots and Raiders meet up for the second straight season in Las Vegas. The Raiders won last season’s match up 30-24.

The Patriots need to win today and there are several match-ups they need to exploit.

Here are the five match ups to watch in this game.

1. Trent Brown vs. Maxx Crosby- Crosby is one of the top defensive ends in the NFL. Trent Brown will have his hands full with him and may require some help. Either way, this is a tough match up for Brown and the Patriots.

2. J.C Jackson vs. Davonte Adams- Expect Jackson to match up with Adams and be physical with him. The Patriots will help Jackson at times by doubling Adams but by in large, he will have to defend Adams by himself throughout the game.

  1. Michael Mayer vs. Patriots safeties- Mayer has been a non-factor for the Raiders thus far but this is a game he could be involved. The Patriots safeties have struggled in coverage. Expect old friend Josh McDaniels to attack Kyle Dugger and company early and often.

4. Mac Jones vs. Raiders Secondary- Jones has struggled mightily the last two weeks. The Raiders secondary is average at best and vulnerable. If Jones gets time, he could have success early and often against a group that is 11th in the league against the pass but gives up its fair share of big plays.

5. Belichick vs. McDaniels- Master vs. pupil again. McDaniels got the better of his former boss last season but expect this game to be much tighter as Belichick tries to even the head to head match-up between the two former friends and colleagues.
