2025 Massachusetts Show Day: Fiumara, Little & others impress for Belmont Hill

BELMONT – After a long two days for many of the college coaches and scouts touring Connecticut and Massachusetts for Show Days, Belmont Hill players made sure the 30+ schools on hand Tuesday night saw some high quality performances.

The two ‘main events’ if you will were a pair of soon-to-be seniors that will be expected to lead the Sextants this season. Tackle Nick Fiumara already has 20+ offers from some big-named schools and he’s a three-star recruit according to Rivals. Quarterback Réis Little doesn’t have any offers yet, but the buzz has been building and they’re seemingly imminent heading into his senior year.

While Belmont Hill only had 11 kids participating compared to 30+ at other schools throughout the day, all of them showed flashes of something at one point or another. Whether it was speed, athleticism, fluidity or power, all 11 could walk away feeling good about what they did.

The two days in May have become a staple for NEPSAC and ISL schools and this one was another good one for the program.

“Obviously, Nick is the real deal and he’s done a great job for us. Réis is a great player and then we have some really good young guys,” head coach Anthony Fucillo said. “When you play football in New England, you don’t get a lot of football. So, just doing that, getting to do this stuff…all of these guys, every single one of them play a spring sport. Bunch of track guys and then some baseball guys, so I think being out here is great.”

Little put on a show during last year’s showcase after running over from the baseball field following a game. This season was a solid performance while his receivers looked pretty good too.

“Probably a little bit more,” Little said with a smile when asked how much more relaxed he was this year compared to last season following that baseball game. “Last year, obviously having that experience, going through it, having my coaches around me, my teammates supporting me too…that certainly helps.

“Yeah, I was definitely more comfortable today and still had a good day.”

Fiumara is used to the attention by now with programs like Army, Duke, Navy and all of the Ivy League schools offering him already, but he was still looking to show the big crowd on hand why he’s so heavily recruited. In fact, he even announced on social media that he’d picked up three more offers on the spot from James Madison, Bucknell and Buffalo.

“I just wanted to show coaches my athleticism,” he said. “Typically, being a big guy, it’s not common to find guys that are big and can move. I just wanted to showcase my skills with that. Being in the weight room, it only transitions well if you can put it on the field, right?

“So, I wanted to show coaches I could transition my strength in the weight room onto the field.”

During footwork and agility drills 2027 wide receivers and defensive backs Ajani Kromah and Ricky Copeland were both really smooth. Fiumara and Little led the first few team drills before guys broke off into indy periods for various coaches to get a better look. Little,  2026 Leopold Kuehberger – who also did some long snapping – 2026 WR Jack Coughlin, Kromah, 2026 Marcus Griffin, 2027 Ky-Mani Monteiro and Copeland closed out the day running routes to the sidelines, comebacks, slants and eventually deep gos before breaking it down just as the sun was setting.

2026 two-way lineman Riley Castillo and 2028 two-way lineman Jack Conway both looked good too, drawing the majority of those in attendance during their workout.

“This is really good for our school, our program,” added Fucillo. “Our kids work hard and deserve to get the exposure.”
