 1. Los Angeles Rams: Jared Goff, QB Cal: The Rams moved up to this spot to draft a franchise quarterback and the Rams believe Goff can be the face of their franchise for years.

2. Philadelphia Eagles: Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State: The Eagles want a franchise quarterback, that’s why they gave up a bunch of picks to acquire the second pick in the draft. Wentz has all the tools to be an elite starting quarterback but that’s two years away.

3. San Diego Chargers: Laramy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss: The Chargers have had problems protecting Phillip Rivers. Tunsil will solve those problems by protecting Rivers back side for the remainder of his career in San Diego.

4. Dallas Cowboys: Jalen Ramsey, FS/CB, Florida State: Ramsey is an elite defender who can play safety or corner. He’ll give a weak Dallas secondary a legitimate play maker.

5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State: The Jags need to juice up their pass rush and the super aggressive Bosa will give the Jags a much needed pass rushing presence.

6. Baltimore Ravens: Myles Jack, OLB, UCLA: Jack has some issues with his knee but there is no doubt, when healthy, he is a superior athlete who can play all three downs and make a difference.

7. San Francisco 49ers: Deforest Buckner, DE, Oregon: The Niners go back to the Oregon well for the second straight season. Buckner is an impact player who will step in as a rookie and improve what was a weak front seven last season.

8. Cleveland Browns: Ezekiel Elliot, RB, Ohio State: The Browns would love to trade down again but that probably won’t happen. They’ll take Elliot and add a much needed impact player for Hue Jackson to use.

9. Tampa Bay Bucs: Leonard Floyd, OLB, Georgia: Floyd is the most explosive pass rusher in this draft. The Bucs struggled to get to the quarterback last season. Floyd solves that problem.

10. New York Giants: Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame: The Giants will do cartwheels if Stanley is on the board at this point. Stanley is a franchise left tackle and he can protect Eli Manning’s blindside for the rest of his career.

11. Chicago Bears: Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida: Hargreaves is the best corner in this draft and the Bears have a gapping hole at corner. It’s a match made in heaven for both Hargreaves and the Bears.

12. New Orleans Saints: Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville: Rankins is undersized but explosive. Very similar to Aaron Donald in terms of style of play. Rankins will step in and give the Saints a much needed presence in the middle of their defense.

13. Miami Dolphins: Shaq Lawson, DE, Clemson: Lawson is a three down player who can play defensive end or outside linebacker. With Cam Wake and Mario Williams being on the other side of 30, the Dolphins need a young pass rusher who could rotate in and eventually replace them.

14. Oakland Raiders: Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State: Defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. runs a Seattle Seahawks style defense. He likes big corners. The Raiders already signed Sean Smith and they’ll add another big corner in Apple.

15. Tennessee Titans: Josh Doctson, WR, TCU: The Titans could also go offensive tackle here. If not, they’ll give Marcus Mariota another weapon to work with in the explosive Doctson.

16. Detroit Lions: Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama: The Lions need a space eater in the interior of their defensive line. Reed can eat up blocks and be disruptive. The Lions defense regressed last season. New GM Bob Quinn will look to rebuild this team along the trenches.

17. Atlanta Falcons: Darron Lee, OLB, Ohio State: Falcons coach Dan Quinn loves linebackers that can run laterally and finish. Darron Lee can do those things as well as any player in this draft. He’ll be a great fit in Atlanta’s defense.

18. Indianapolis Colts: Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State: The Colts need to do a better job of protecting Andrew Luck and Conklin will help an offensive line that has struggled to do that the last two seasons.

19. Buffalo Bills: Robert Nkemdiche, DT, Ole Miss: The Bills need to draft a defensive tackle that can collapse the pocket and rush the passer. Nkemdiche is that player. He comes with baggage but there’s no denying the talent is there.

20. New York Jets: Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis: Lynch might be the most talented quarterback in this draft physically. Unlike Goff and Wentz however, he will need more time to develop. The Jets will be willing to give him that time so he can develop into their quarterback of the future.

21. Washington Redskins: A’Shawn Robinson, DT, Alabama: Robinson can play either defensive tackle or nose tackle. He has long arms and he can separate at the point of attack. The Redskins need a defensive tackle that can step in, start and make an impact. Robinson is that player.

22. Houston Texans: Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor: Coleman is a deep ball threat who can take the top off of coverage. He is not a number one receiver but Coleman could be a great complement to De’Andre Hopkins.

23. Minnesota Vikings: Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss: This won’t be like drafting Randy Moss all over again but Treadwell is the best receiver in this draft and he has the potential to develop into an elite number one receiver that can play at a pro bowl level.

24. Cincinnati Bengals: Will Fuller, WR, Notre Dame: With Doctson and Treadwell gone, the Bengals will grab Fuller to start opposite A.J Green.

25. Pittsburgh Steelers: William Jackson, CB, Houston: Jackson is long, athletic and has great ball skills. The Steelers need a number one corner. Jackson had the talent and the speed to be that player for the black and gold.

26. Seattle Seahawks: Ryan Kelly, C, Alabama: The Seahawks offensive line struggled last season. A big reason for that was the departure of Max Unger in the Jimmy Graham trade. Kelly is a similar player to Unger but more versatile. He can play guard and even tackle. He’ll add an element of toughness to an offensive line that needs it.

27. Green Bay Packers: Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama: The Packers were 21st against the run last season. If they are going to turn things around against the run, they need an inside linebacker with size that can fill gaps and make tackles. Ragland is that player.

28. Kansas City Chiefs: Germaine Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M: The Chiefs need a right tackle and left guard. Ifedi is athletic with long arms and can play either position if necessary. He can be inconsistent at times but there is no doubt Ifedi is talented and has upside.

29. Arizona Cardinals: Mackensie Alexander, CB, Clemson: The Cardinals need a corner to start opposite Patrick Peterson. Alexander is highly competitive and has terrific ball skills. The Cards like to blitz and play man coverage. Alexander profiles as a pure man cover corner.

30. Carolina Panthers: Artie Burns, CB, Miami (Fla): Burns is long, athletic and has the make up of a number corner something the Panthers need now that Josh Norman is gone.

31. Denver Broncos: Taylor Decker, OT, Ohio State: John Elway could go in a myriad of directions with this pick. He’ll go offensive line and protect whomever his quarterback is next season.
