Dudes of The Week: Super Bowl Edition


The season is officially over in Massachusetts. Here are our Dudes of The Week. Super Bowl edition.

Division One Super Bowl

St. John’s Prep running back Carson Browne carried the ball 38 times for 131 yards and a touchdown.DUDE!

The St. John’s Prep Defense arguably the most potent offense in the state is no small feat. Rain or not. DUDES!

Division 2 Super Bowl

CM Freshmen quarterback Peter Bourque threw for 76 yards and 2 touchdowns in the Knights 27-7 win over King Philip.

Carson Harwood rushed for 86 yards and 1 touchdown. He also caught a touchdown pass in the Knights win. DUDE!

King Philip defense should get some love for holding down the Knights potent offense for most of the game. DUDES!

Division 3 Super Bowl

Brothers Nathan and Christian Delgado combined to rush for 173 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Warriors 34-28 win over Milton. DUDES!

Jack Finnegan rushed for 131 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also kicked four extra points in the Wildcats loss to Wakefield. DUDE!

Division 4 Super Bowl

Yo Soy Festa! Duxbury quarterback Matt Festa threw for 250 yards and 2 touchdown passes. Festa also rushed for 35 yards and 4 touchdowns in Duxbury ‘s 42-7 win to capture the Div. 4 state title over Grafton. DUDE!

Duxbury wide receiver Chris Walsh caught five passes for 145 yards and a touchdown in Duxbury’s win. DUDE!

Division 5 Super Bowl

Alex Carucci was a one-man wrecking crew in North Reading’s 44-28 win over Shawsheen Tech. He rushed for 143 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also threw for 141 yards and 2 touchdown passes in the win. DUDE!

Running back Will Batten rushed for 178 yards and 2 touchdowns in North Reading’s win. DUDE!

In one of the greatest performances in Super Bowl history, Rams wide receiver Mavrick Boudreau caught 17 passes for 240 yards and 2 touchdowns. A performance for the ages! DUDE!

Division 6 Super Bowl

David Brown was arguably the best player of the weekend. The star running back rushed for 195 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also caught a touchdown pass. DUDE!

Chris Farren did his part to keep Stoneham in the game as as he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown in the loss. DUDE!

Division 7 Super Bowl

Running back Jamie McNamara paced a versatile ground game rushing for 136 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries as West Boylston beat St. Bernard’s 29-6 to win the Div. 7 state title. DUDE!

Division 8 Super Bowl

John Gianibas carried the ball 33 times for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns as Hull defeated KIPP 27-8 to take home the Div. 8 State Title. DUDE!
