High School: Week 11 MIAA Top 25

It was a wild week of Final Four games.

There were some outstanding performances, and we saw a little movement in the top 10.

As we move to Thanksgiving and the state title games, there could be some surprises along the way. We’ll see.

Week 11 MIAA Top 25

1. Catholic Memorial (10-0) — A return to form for the Knights.
2. Springfield Central (10-1) — Simply dominant.
3. Duxbury (10-0) — Took an early punch and fought back.
4. St. John’s Prep (9-2) — Playing inspired football right now.
5. King Philip (9-1) — Held off Feehan late.
6. Xaverian (7-3) — Idle.
7. Central Catholic (8-3) — Hard to beat the Prep twice.
8. Milton (10-0) — Just a terrific season for Steve Dembowski and Co.
9. Milford (9-2) — Couldn’t match CM’s firepower.
10. Grafton (11-0) — The clear best team in Central Mass. this season.
11. Wakefield (11-0) — Under the radar no more.
12. North Attleboro (7-3) — Loss aside, a great season for the Red Rocketeers.
13. Andover (9-1) — Idle.

14. Methuen (8-3) — Rangers made another step forward this year — and will be back.
15. Hanover (8-3) — Gave Milton a real test.
16. Bishop Feehan (6-4) — Made a courageous comeback vs. KP.
17. Mansfield (8-2) — Idle.
18. Reading (9-1) — Idle.
19. Billerica (9-1) — Idle.
20. Everett (8-2) — Idle.
21. Franklin (6-3) — Idle.
22. Peabody (9-1) — Idle.
23. North Reading (10-1) — Went a little extra to beat Fenwick.
24. Plymouth South (9-1) — Idle.
25. Shawsheen (11-0) — Another good win over Dover-Sherborn.
