UConn Four Down Preview: UConn Huskies (3-4) at Ball State Cardinals (3-3)

Kickoff: UConn will look to make it three in a row this afternoon when they visit the Ball State Cardinals in Muncie, Indiana. As usual, the Huskies will once again be short handed in some spots but this team has proven to be resilient this season.

Four Downs: (Four keys to the game.)

1. Viva La Rosa! It’s going to be the Victor Rosa show today. Look for OC Nick Charlton to get him as many touches as possible.

2. Come out slinging: Why not? Zion Turner has played enough now that you can put more on his plate and throw the ball more. Especially on first down. It will keep the Ball State defense off balance.

3. Front seven must dominate: They have been in this recent run of success and if the Huskies are going to make it three in a row, they need to control the line of scrimmage.

4. Set a physical tone early: Despite their injuries, the Huskies are the better team. Setting a physical tone in all three phases is important in a game like. Imposing your physical will is a key.

Extra Point: Ball State has lost five straight at home. The Huskies will look to run that streak to six.

Final Drive: Ball State is well coached so this will not be an easy game by any means but UConn is feeling it right now. I think they make three and get to .500 with a big win.
