Boston College: Eagles strike again, this time landing athlete Khalil Ali out of New Jersey

The Boston College staff added another highly touted player to their already stacked Class of 2023 when they landed a commitment from Khalil Ali out of Pennsauken, New Jersey.

The 6-1 190 pound Ali can play safety and or a big nickel on defense. He can also play on offense as a receiver or multi-purpose skill player.

Ali had 22 other offers. He picked the Eagles over Miami (Fla), Florida State, Illinois, Maryland, West Virginia, Pitt, Michigan State, Ole Miss, UConn, Penn State, Rutgers and Temple among others.

Khalil Ali runs the ball for Pennsauken High School.

One of the things that jumps out at you about Ali is how strong he is. He is thickly built and he breaks tackles after the catch or when running jet sweeps. Ali is a smooth route runner and shows good body control and strong hands in contested ball situations.

Defensively, Ali ‘s closing speed is impressive. He plays downhill all time and does a good job of recognizing plays and flowing to the ball with speed and balance. When you look at his body type, Ali could develop into a 3X3 safety. He can play all three downs at all three levels.

The Eagles got themselves a stud. A player who can step right in and possibly make an impact as a freshmen. An absolute stud!
